Title: I'm New Here.
Post by: Jacob91 on July 24, 2006, 03:02:36 am: I may be new here, but I have been hovering around sites associated with the speed run/high scores area for a while, and since I have been playing sa2b and sth for a very long time, expect some times there.
I have a question after reading the competition rules, but I ma not sure that this is the right place to ask.
In teh competition rules it says that repetitve tasks in city escape, lost colony , etc can lead to very high scores.and my question is, what are these repetitive tasks? thank you for reading this, and I llok ofrward to some friendly competition.

after getting sick of SADX and S1 i've decided to play SA2b for times when i'm bored, so you can consider me as some "friendly" competition.

and i'm not quite sure what the tasks would be(I never really go for scores on sa2) but i'm sure someone else knows

Post by: yse on July 24, 2006, 07:42:02 am: As I understand it, if a practice isn't stipulated in the rules, it's because we don't want people knowing about it. Once people know it, they can get a score close to the record and nobody would be any the wiser.
