Title: Question about Sonic Advance 3 Boss Attacking

I recently submitted an Ocean Base Boss record, but I suddenly realized that the rules say you have to use Time Attack modes when possible. Unfortunately, Boss Attack mode is probably one of the hardest things to get in the game, and I would like to know if the bosses are any different in Boss Attack mode than they are if regularly accessed from Single Player mode. kthx.

i dont own the game but i don't think they would be. it isnt different in any other sonic game i know.

Only if you play in Normal mode.

However Boss Attack is preferred for convenience. (And let's face it, if you can't get Boss Attack you're not going to do too well in the rankings anyway.)

It's not that I can't get BA mode, it's that I'm lazy/bored/haven't played SAdva3 too much in my period of having it.


Getting 10479148 chao by constantly searching in stages/purposely doing worse than usual in stages to get medals isn't very fun if you know what I mean.


And of course I play in Normal mode, duh. But thanks for the information anyway.

You dont need ALL medals for BA mode, only all Golds.

Hm? I do believe GameFAQs said otherwise. To quote:

"in ALL zones and acts, get medals of all colors(Final and Extra zone also)"

I only got this recently (and still haven't played as much as when I got  Shadow and played that anyway), so please stop pestering me about being a noob :(

Now excuse me, I must finish off Chaos Angel now, and maybe try the Toy Kingdom/Twinkle Snow boss records later.

GameFAQ's is stupid.

I have Boss Attack and on half of the levels I only have the Gold.

Go figure.

There is no difference when it comes to bosses. Not that it matters much. At least there's still some SAdv3 competition.

PsyBorg, who'd you use to beat the Chaos Angel Boss time? Just curious.
