What times did he put in?
-
look at the milliseconds
-
Asking him what console he uses would be a good idea in this case.
-
And the fact that they've been up for a full month ought to be addressed.
-
I think he may have fixed his times, he's got bottom rankings in sab2 now. wow. 11 minutes 48 secs. in Cannon's core, and 10:31:14 in meteor herd....If he was modifying times, those would be a tad bit lower. Unless somebody talked to him about the times, I wouldn't know.
-
One might wonder why someone would lie with times that high..

I think rolkien said the posted times were in the miliseconds. I have 2 theories:
1) Cosmic submitted times, accidently putting minutes in the miliseconds, and changed the times accordingly
2) Cosmic realized he looked like a complete dumbass, and that his scheme at being the second sadisticmystic with almost all records on the site was beyond reach. and Sadistic, they may have been up for 1 month because he posted times, but maybe they were in such a maligned category that they wouldn't be noticed. Or, maybe nobody was really looking extensively at his times, I know that sometimes I'll be looking at times, and I'll be like "Oh, 10 seconds for egg golemn, cool, I'll try and beat that, wonder how he did it."
-
Maligned, good God.
Xebra, it was a typo. that happens a lot on the internet.

Okay, I guess I should confess... seeing this topic kinda made me shocked.
When I went to update some SA2:B times, I had to write down all my times, then go on the computer and upload them. Being new to TSC, I didn't know they asked for milliseconds on the times. So I had only written down minutes and seconds. I also didn't think it would matter that much if I just made up random millisecond times.
If you want take off my SA2:B times and I'll re submit them.
Also, those really big times are on my first try, I haven't done much time attacking on any Sonic game.
*scurries off in shame*
EDIT: Also... I haven't changed my times since I submitted them... how did you know I made up the times? Unless I told someone and forgot that I told them.
-
Hehe im lucky, I can either plug my gamecube into the computer and look at the times on there, or just get them from the tv in the room mwhaha.
-
Heh, I have a suspicion Rolken put this topic here not as something serious... especially seeing as there's been no direct contact with me about it.
And the milliseconds... don't really matter, do they?
But still... how did you know??
-
We know.
That's all you get.

OK, that's cool. I'll leave them in until you resubmit them, so that you only have to retype the milliseconds.
I thought I had sent you an email, but on looking thru my sent messages, apparently I hadn't. Oops.

Okay, I'll get to that soonish... meaning today or tomorrow.
But seriously... how did you know? I'm scared

Big Brother is watching you. That's how.

I think that since rolken has admin, he can view which pages members have seen. So, If you look at records and then submit your times at the same time, you're under suspicion. Or something. And xebra, I know I spelled that wrong, so don't do that crap where you correct all my mistakes, though I know you will anyway, because apparently you have a big problem with nearly everything I say.

Yes, I can see what everyone's seen, but I have neither the time nor the will to monitor the logs. We have (completely accurate) statistical methods based on the way the game works, which we'd rather not make public for obvious reasons... :p
-
I think I may have an idea of what it might be...
...but I won't say, seeing as you don't want it as public knowledge :P
Incidentally I was wondering about this when I decided to make up the milliseconds... eheh... >_<;

shhh, dont tell anyone.
