Title: Question about glitches

Post by: PsyBorg on December 29, 2005, 08:57:52 pm: Well, I know from experience that occasionally, on the Egg Dealer, Eggman might shoot himself with missiles at the beginning of the stage, giving a player an advantage before the timer even begins. That's the glitch, and I'm unsure if I can use it or not.

Post by: SadisticMystic on December 29, 2005, 09:51:03 pm: Sounds similar to a phenomenon observed in the Vs. Team battles in Heroes. If the battle starts out randomly easier, then go ahead and use that position to your benefit, and if you can manipulate it to happen more often, more power to you.

It's actually not hard to figure out when that particular "glitch" happens.

I've never heard of this phenomenon before. What happens in this case? In regards to the Egg Dealer thing, how does this work? (I.e. any specific timing to make this weird thing work.) Wasn't there also a similar event in SA2:B (it should be in one of the guides IIRC).

PsyBorg: Yeah, it might be a glitch, or the game thinks that you set off the final missle slot and works in your favor instead of Eggman's or it was intentional... :o
