I have a random idea for a new feature: Chart Exporting. Basically, you'd be able to export any chart on TSC to a file (probably in OpenDocument Spreadsheet format). This would require rewriting the table generation functions to support more than HTML, but once that's done, I could add some other stuff, too:
- Export all charts for a single player to a single file.
- Export all charts for a single game to a single file.
Any thoughts?

Yes yes yes (though I already said as such on IRC....)
Anyone who can't deal with OpenOffice fails at computing anyways....

<Rolken> heh, that's funny. I don't think I ever saw that topic, but the way I recoded the tables yesterday would support that
<Rolken> if you link or bump that topic gerbil might
This would be an awesome feature if it worked

make sure you can't do it in Excel :)

I took a look at the new table code. It's an improvement over the old code, but it needs integration into the TSC system. I'm going to try doing that this weekend.
There's a test page with the new code at http://www.soniccenter.org/rankings/new/experimental . Note that the new row highlight feature requires alpha-transparent PNG support, so it may not work on IE.

...someone add 1 to Gerbil's non-Rickroll link count
