Title: Poll:sonic or mario

I was on IRC,and I was talking to people on chat rooms, and somehow it got to the subject of mario, and people started arguing about which was better. It was actually pretty close. Now, I adk you: Who do you like better? Mario? or Sonic? And not just the mascot. Mario is okay, but Sonic games are so much more... fluid and free. Especially the 2D ones.

Agreed. Plus, Mario has an intense issue with his persona. I me, a badass plumber who fights a giant dragon/turtle? It's original, but it just doesn't click. But mario is ok. I liked Paper Mario and the Mario parties a lot.

At sage,a lot of people actually prefer mario. I thought it would be equal here. But obviously..with 1 mario fan..it's not
