Hey everbody, the Nomad here talking about what games we play on a regular basis. I myself play a LOT of SEGA hahaha. Really o.o Either im playing Sonic Advance3, my Genesis/SEGA classics/Sonic Mega Collections, Shining Force Neo, Shinobi/Nightshade or Phantasy Star Universe, or Im looking at what new SEGA games they're coming out with (Shining force EXA, Virtua Fighter 5 and SaTaR caught my eye) lol. Cant help it tho, Ive been playing SEGA since I was a kid, even had a Sonic T-shirt when I was 5 XD.Maybe I should try getting myself into other games more, or do something not-game related =P How about you all? What do you play regularly?
-
Specifically, the only SEGA games I've been playing are from Sonic Team. I also play about half of the released iNiS games (Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan [Japan only] and Elite Beat Agents). That's pretty much it.

I sincerely hope its a strategy RPG. :/
EDIT: GRAGHNAGRGH its a ps2 game.
-
SEGA and Nintendo.
That's pretty much all I play.
Pikmin 2 and Paper Mario 2 pwn.
-
I definitely play more than Sega* games, but I have quite a few that are from Sega.
They include the Sonic games (Sonic Adventure, in both versions :D ), but also a few others, like F-Zero GX.
SA is the only one that could be said I play regularly.
*What is it, Sega or SEGA? I keep switching. SEGA/Sega seems to use both themselves, but maybe Sega more often.

Lately I've begun to think that the only Sega games I've touched in a long while are Sonic... and that 'the rest of Sega' isn't very appealing. However then I realized I liked the Phantasy Star Universe beta and I ordered the game a couple of days ago. And I still feel bad for never owning Billy Hatcher and I want to get Phantasy Star Online 3 sometime this year. But then I realized that those are Sonic Team games, so I guess I just like Sonic Team!
I play non-Sega games all the time, currently I'm alternating between Sonic06 and Gears of War.

Oh! I just remembered YAKUZA. I heard its insanely popular in japan, it looks real good. Maybe ill look into it.

Does anyone know what price its going by now?
-
Well, I like Sonic, Monkey Ball, and F-Zero. Those are the only SEGA games I like. Other games I like would be Mario Kart and related karting games, DDR, Kirby (mostly Kirby Air Ride), and the Spyro ps1 series.
-
Well today, instead of getting YAKUZA, i went and got Spy Fiction (tactical espionage action syle from SEGA and Sammy) I know my sis will lik it cuz she's into MGS lol, and it looks good too.
-
Lately I've mainly played a great deal of Sonic, Final Fantasy, and rythm based games (DDR, Guitar Hero II), with a side of Nintendo goodness.
-
hey does anyone here play spikeout battlestreet or iron phoenix by any chance?
-
Well all I do is play sonic(for the compitition)
and runescape(even if its a meh kind of game)
-
Didnt know someone was gonna bring this topic back ha. Pretty soon i start a job, and then along the way i plan to pay for PSU online and start that =P hope my sis can get hers up soon too
-
I play Monkey Ball and Sonic. Sonic mostly. At least the SEGA games.
-
Yea I played Phantasy Star Universe and had my license for a few weeks now. It's kind of meh now though because my buds don't seem to really care about playing it online anymore. I'm not sure when to make the decision to cancel my license, but it's only a matter of time.
sigh... it's one thing to make you pay for a monthly fee for no reason, but the burden of having to cancel it is adding insult to injury.
-
I play lots of Sega (wel, Sonic and F-Zero >_>), and lots of Nintenod (lots lots >_>), and I play my fair share of Namco (Soul Calibur, Baten Kaitos, but I can't play Tales decently for the life of me). I also REAAAAAAALY phail at sidescrollers (except Sonic Advance for some odd reason).
-
Im back and now with Shining Force EXA. Really is a nice action RPG for the ps2, and i luv the artwork for it. The characters are awesome, like Duga the wolfling and Garyu the black dragon and Maebelle the elf. I am contempt now! except...... I wanna get Hokuto no Ken for the ps2!! =P
-
I mainly play Nintendo and SEGA consoles, the only console I own that's not by them is my PS2. I wanna get a 360 though, if only for a few games.
Lately, I haven't been playing much but Sonic though.
-
Recently, I've been heavily playing Pokemon Diamond.
-
I play a lot of Sonic Team & RPGs. Right now I just got Tales of Symphonia, and it's so heartfelt. Anyone here play it?

Omg, I got Yakuza for the ps2 =O it kicks soo much ass! The gameplay, story, graphics it all rocks, and there's so much you can do like play casinos, go to game rooms, eat and drink with women and give them your e-mail so they can msg u =P super fun. I hope they bring the sequal to the US XD

Yeah I've played it. The story isn't exactly what anyone would call original, but at least the characters give it a certain charm. I was a fan of the combat system in particular. Alot of button mashing yes, but you stand a much higher chance of not having to constantly heal if you choose to play it well. In terms of soundtrack, it's hit and miss, that being that it has some really great tracks, and some ones that want to make you wash your ears with acid. The sound production is also inconsistant. Sometimes the music, voices, and SFX all come out clean, and balanced in terms of volume, but other times the voices are overloud, crackly, and just plain bad. Same goes from some of the musical tracks, some of them have clean, crisp production, and others are so muddy you can't even tell what it's supposed to sound like. All in all it's a pretty decent game though.
As for playing only SEGA games....well I can't say that's a quality I share. I play games on every platform, from every company, and of every genre. I've always been like that. I respect a game for being good regardless of who made it or what platform it's on.
