Honestly, I do not know why mission charts were never added on TSC for either of the first two Riders games. I certainly believe that they can be very competitive if they were up from the beginning, but it seems they were ignored, for whatever reason :/ I will cite that, on CS, particularly for the first Riders, there were plenty of subs made, even by the top Riders players at one point or another, DsS and greycatmon (among others). SR:ZG didn't fare -as- well, but there was competition. I feel adding missions will drive the game away from its lap-skipping (moreso in SR:ZG) and will probably attract more people because they have more of a chance.

I, personally, want to see these charts up, and I do not want to be alone on this. First, I will demonstrate the charts to be added.

Sonic Riders

This can all be placed in an Extra category, but that cannot have an overall total if it does. We can group these by score and time (f.e. Extra (Time), Extra, (Score)), or as it is in-game, Storm's Missions, Jet's Missions and Wave's Missions. I will separate them according to the way it is in-game for now.

Storm's Missions

Types: (labeled A - ? next to the mission to indicate what it is, used for creating a total)
A - Trick Missions (score, higher better)
B - Get to the Goal Missions (usually with an added challenge) (timed, lower better)
C - Grind Missions (these are not always easily maxable ;) ) (score, higher better)
D - Air Ride Missions (same as Grind Missions) (score, higher better)
E - Chase Missions (to get "treasure" mainly) (timed, lower better)
F - Excursion Missions (destroying objects) (score, higher better)
G - Junk missions (collecting junk)
H - 7 Stone Statues in a row, in the fastest time.

Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity

This can likely fit better into one group (Extra). Three of 7 missions in each stage are always the same, so they can be grouped into "Mission 1, 2, 3" in the totals. Missions 4-7 vary, so they will be noted here.

Mission 1 is always a Go for the Goal mission
Mission 2 is always a rings mission, hundreds max
Mission 3 is always a trick mission, hundreds max (there is only one mission that goes that far, but it must be made).

Types (missions 4-7):
A - Grind Missions (xx)
B - Air Ride Missions (xx)
C - Gravity Control Missions (targets) (xx)
D - Gravity Dive missions (targets) (xx)
E - Time Item Missions (HIGHER time is better here)
F - Most GP missions (xxx)
G - Excursion Missions (xx)
H - Meteor Burst missions (based on how long it's done) (xxxx)
I - Race/Get to the Goal Mission (with stipulation)
J - Gravity Control Missions (destroying stuff) (xx)
K - Chase missions (destroy something after pursuing it)
L - Attack Missions (attack as many robots and/or characters as possible) (x)

I was wondering that also. They do have it on Cyberscore and vgr.fr. Unfortunately, missions are my weakness in the game (go on, exploit it to the fullest). Anyway, I am all for putting these categories up, except the junk; I'm sure that everyone on the site has gotten all 12 pieces of junk on all the junk missions, even the ones where you battle Jet.

I do suggest that we would have to sort the Missions by the type of mission, as totaling different categories makes an undefined result; try it on Cyberscore. We should be able to condense the list further so it it easier.

I don't own ZG, so I don't know how the missions work entirely, but I have played a little bit of them. I'm guessing they run in the same fashion as the first game did, so I'm open for getting those charts up.

I think that, at least for the first game, the categories should be condensed as the following:

A- Trick Missions
B- Get to the Goal Missions
C- Grind Missions
D- Air Ride Missions
E- Treasure Missions (This includes the 7 statues mission, as they are required to get the treasure)
F- Object Destroying

I believe these charts I mentioned were all in the Cyberscore site (the junk missions were included in some of Jet's Missions). I hope that you guys can find a way to add the charts in; the people who are interested will try to offer as much as they can to make this happen.

My best guess is that likely this was too confusing to figure out how to easily put these missions in one set of charts, in all groups on TSC as far as I know there are total columns for each type of record and then a total total. Here, in theory, that presents a problem. I agree with you in regard to separating types (but not in separate groups, too many leaderships), and the condensed version for Riders looks simpler, the first post is a reference tool meant to define what's what, but the biggest concern I have (which -might- have been the reason that mission charts were never put up) is that missions cannot be condensed in one group, and probably will need as many as three for each game (I'd consider combining rings and scores for Riders though, there are only 2 Ring missions >_>) Now, that's as many as three additional leaderships added to the game, and at a time where most of the players aren't active anymore.

However, I also see that some missions are left out. The junk missions I agree with (although I have not collected them all yet >_>)

You should add one more category to that list, greycatmon:
G - Fight Missions (these are actually really fun lol)

Right, so I've played SR:ZG missions extensively, and SR:ZG is a bit simpler than Riders in structure (but with more categories), Missions 1, 2, and 3 can have their own total categories (Mission 1s should be combined with Race and Chase Missions), they are always the same type. Additionally, the following categories can be made:

A - Grind Missions
B - Air Ride Missions
C - Gravity Control Missions (puts together the three types that exist, they are all a score anyway).
D - Time Item Missions
E - Gravity Dive Missions (These should be separate from the other gravity missions, as this is based on how long/many times you can do a gravity dive, especially since a 4 digit number is possible)
F - Excursion/Attack Missions

Rings can have their own separate group, as these missions really are competitive and can never be truly maxed. I figure Times and scores can be equally separated.
