Hiya Folks / A formal reintroduction.

I've decided to make this because to tell the people on the forums who aren't on things like Skype and just to feel like I've properly reintroduced myself back to the site.

I'm FocusSight64. Just call me Focus (or as Tripleag3nt insists, my real name, Jake). Most of you know me for my infamous background with TSC back in mid-late 2013, and back in early 2015 I was unbanned for yet a 3rd time. I've always missed submitting to the site until I kind of forgot about it when I became a mod on CS and the whole move to Australia started. Was caught up in a lot of things, mainly the thought of getting my precious S06 back. Anyways, as most of you already know, I'm back on TSC, hoping to make things go well the 3rd time round. Hopefully, I'll start submitting more than I currently have. It's nice to be back.

Well, you can buy the albums, but the one I want (the one with the samples in 06) cost 30 dollars. I'm not paying that just to get one sample.

General Sonic / The Mysterious New City (Unused Mission included!)

Okay, I've found something really interesting. I found a way into New City from Shadow's Castle Town, by glitching through the right corner of the wall, not just the door, and jumping into the load point. I did this just after M15. What I found was...odd. Cars everywhere, almost everyone said the same line, and a bunch of mirrors for different places (IDK why). But the most interesting thing was it loaded a mission when I walked up to the area near the mirrors. The text during the loading screen was blank, but it seemed like a new mission. It starts off by saying: "Destroy all the enemies and protect Company Employees!" and some enemies appear. The mission has a lot of them. After them, a person named "Mazzola" says: "We at Rimlight secretly obtained information about the Solaris Project that Duke Soleanna was working on, and learned about Light Cores. Once the Rimlight President learned the secret behind the Light Cores, he told us to collect them, to make a fortune from the energy. As you know, Light Cores are very dangerous. Some of us didn't want to do it, but I couldn't stand up to the president. And then... this happened. But, I was wrong. I need to do what's right, instead of trying to make a profit. Mephiles? No, we've never heard of him before." The mission doesn't have a result screen until you talk to him a second time, and he says: "But, there was a large Light Core reaction in the desert area a short time ago. Maybe that has something to do with it." There is no save after this results screen, and you are brought back to the door you came from. There are other missions that are normally in New City, but at the wrong places or with duplicates. I was able to go to the Flame Core and Crisis City mirrors, but they took me nowhere. Same with the Radical Train one somewhere else. I'm not sure if this is new or not, but it is interesting. If anyone has done this before, please say so.

Wikkity! / Mirror Edge Glitches, Tricks, and Strats Thread

As I just recently purchased Mirror's Edge (I'm about 4 - 5 years late, aren't I?), I was wondering if anyone knows any of those things listed in the Title about the Time Attack mode in-game. Mirror's Edge can be a really good game for speedrunning, and I would just like to know if anyone has TA'ed the games levels (on TSC). This was the only real forum I could find on the TSC that isn't focused on Sonic, and I know that there are great speedrunners in this site that also speedrun a lot of games.

I know this is a stupid question, but may the 3DS be used to submit stats for any of the Original DS Sonic Games? I've used the Circle Pad, which gives better control than a D-Pad, for Rush and was going to submit some stats. But I wanted to be sure that use of the Circle Pad was allowed, because I want to make sure that I didn't cheat. Sorry, just making sure.

General Sonic / Sonic Labyrinth.

I'd like to make this forum post just to see everyone's top Labyrinth times (In-game time). After a full playthrough, the game presents you with your time and score, along with a star rating. If you can, play through the full game and post a picture of your fastest time here. This is just a forum post for a little competition, in a game that can't really have it's own competition board (There is only 6 obtainable stats, and 4 ones that are can be varied, since the star stats in both Normal Game and Time Attack are way too easy). Anyway, here's my best stats:

In Special Stages 4, 5, 6, and 7, the ring count needed is lowered. Should this be taken into account for the Special Stats in S4E2? For Example: In SS7, the ring count in any other version is: 120 - 350 - 500. The iOS version's ring count for SS7 is: 100 - 300 - 400.
In Special Stage 2 and 3, it doesn't change until the second part.
Special Stage 1 is the only one that is the exact same.

The Sonic 1 Remastering has recently come out for iOS and Android. As there is a Sonic CD - 2011, should we add the same for the 2013 version of Sonic 1?
