General Sonic / Sonic Unleashed PS2 vs PS3

I was just wondering what the consensus of TSC over which version is the best.  I picked up the PS2 version really cheap and havn't played it yet.  I was just wondering whether I should get the PS3 one or just stick to the PS2 one?  Thoughts?  Which one do you think is better?

Hey guys!  I have been a long time follower of people's speed runs on youtube for quite some time now and I thought it was time I join in the fun!  I have been a Sonic fan since the very first game, and although I won't be breaking any records anytime soon I just wanted to join you guys and get tips and tricks about how to become a better player.  I'm not really bothered about breaking world records to be honest, I just love whipping through levels at sonic speeds because its such a great feeling!  I am a big fan of darkspinessonic youtube channel and its because of those videos that I am here today!  Really inspiring!

My favourite games are;

Sonic Rush Adventure, Sonic Advance and Sonic Adventure Battle 2.
