You can get more points if you keep destroying green boxes. This is a terrible boring idea so watch only the beginning of the videos.

New record in Scrap Brain 3: 161 Rings. Bouncing on the burrobots sonic reach a non accessed area. If you  manage to do it twice you can get at least 261 rings.

Hi speedruners! my first post here and some speedrun videos attached.
GHZ1 needs to be upgraded a lot (too dificult taking the upper way).
Notice how sonic gets into 1up passage in MZ3.

with so many green boxes marble zone act2 is where you can achieve the highest amount of score in sonic the hedgehog. 114530 points is my best, here is the video:

the goal is to put as many bugs you can together. in this video 22 bugs and green boxes are killed consecutively.
