Dario FF and the Unleashed team has made an amazing effort of putting the Unleashed Project together for Sonic Generations. Sadly, porting bosses, werehog stages and eggmanland is not possible to impossible. Superspeed works in Unleashed and so it does on the Unleashed Project.
NOTE: Requires a legal copy of Sonic Generations on Steam.
More info and download can be followed in the link below:

Since the mod uses 3D-models from Unleashed, shouldn't that technically require you to own Unleashed as well?
EDIT: I actually read from the link you posted and this was what it said:
•Is this free? Do I need to own Sonic Unleashed to play it?
Yes, it is free. As for requirements, you don't need to own Sonic Unleashed to play this. Someone will likely ask if this is even legal then, but seeing as Sega has unlisted Sonic Unleashed due to a low MetaCritic score, and they haven't issued any sort of statement yet, we'll have to assume it's in the safe zone.
The only requirement you need is Sonic Generations on Steam; no more, no less.

You don't have to own Unleashed to play the Unleashed Project, but you can, for a comparison.

Since when was Sonic Unleashed on the PC?
-
SEGA never released Sonic Unleashed for the PC
-
1/10 game freezes while loading after following installation instructions
-
Where does it freeze?
-
I have not watched many videos of this mod but I think by the videos I did watched it looks awesome. I wish I had the pc version of Sonic Generations.
-
Initially it froze after I hit "continue", the loading animation would just loop forever.
Deleted my save file, and now as soon as I hit newgame, it attempts to load "???", a huge chunk of garbled characters show up over the title screen, and it force tabs out and immediately stops responding.

Hi Bilan,
I had the same problem with this chunk of garbled characters in the loading screen.
Just uncheck the Unleashed FxPipeline Shaders in SonicGMI. Should look like this: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/854/sonicgmi.jpg/ (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/854/sonicgmi.jpg/)
I hope this will help you out ;-)
