A few folks (including myself) would like an explanation of how this (http://www.soniccenter.org/rankings/sonic_rush/times/mirage_road_1/sonic) time goes down by 22 seconds. Especially by "following skylight's video".
Failure to supply at the very least, a strategy, will probably see this and your other Rush times removed in short order.

mostly i followed skylights vid, and skipped a few of the springs, if u want more detail, just say, ill go get my camera

You'll have to do better than that. "I just skipped a few springs" doesn't cut it. You need to divulge in detail whatever you really did to cut 20 seconds off.

kk. the first thing i did was skip the spring at around 5 secs by turning immediately and jumpingr into the gap at the top. The 2 zip wire things i skipped by jumping just before and I skipped the spring at 0 24 secs. I skipped the spring at 2:03 by using a high jump and reached the goal ring. I think thats it and i also did some more stuff that i cnt remember

o yh and in the pic, u can see 1 45. Hard to see the 72 but thats cause of the camera

I already knew about the things you mentioned, and they do not save you 20 seconds.
I have my own theory about what you did, and it isn't honorable/legal. Care to divulge what you really did before I begin?

You need to provide some proof anyway, just make a video showing your strats, even if you can't do them as fast as you did before.

An explanation of what he did is more than enough. It will allow other people, such as myself, to confirm whether or not a strategy is reasonable and valid.

I can see it just fine: I see 00:14:72. As I keep looking at it. You can make the picture bigger by clicking on the picture (Not link) or make it larger in MS Paint

Yes, we can see the picture. Yes, it is (barely) legible. But it's not 14 seconds, it's 1 minute 47 seconds. <_<

I read it right, I typed in 14 instead of 45. Yeah it is 1:45:72. I looked at a bunch of times. I even put it in MS Paint and made it larger and it is a 45:72

The only way you can potentially cut off 20 seconds from Mirage Road 1 with either character is if you do it illegitimately. First you would need to avoid taking the trolley that you would begin riding about halfway through the level, which is in one of my Youtube videos. The problem now becomes how to get over the massive gap in between you and the spring at the end of the trolley section.
The only possible solution is to use an Action Replay device to give yourself the ability to moonjump. But of course you knew that.
I skipped the spring at 2:03 by using a high jump and reached the goal ring.
You can't skip that spring otherwise. Sonic and Blaze don't jump high enough normally.
And another thing. Your DL1 Sonic score is 123xxx. Here's how the math works:
85000 max for time bonus.
20000 max for trick bonus.
10000 max for speed bonus. (you did not max this because the last x is not a 0)
That would leave about 8000 extra points for your ring bonus, meaning you collected at least 800 rings. The only problem here: it's impossible to get that many rings in this level! The level does not have more than the 519 possible using the best possible ring collection route.

Notice that he mentions the same picture, but cuts off 5 seconds from what he previously said the picture was?

If you mistyped 123xxx as 113xxx then it wouldn't be a record and you wouldn't need absolute proof that a better record was made, now would you?
You can't keep up this charade forever. You hide from behind your fuzzy picture that merely proves your unwillingness to cooperate. You refuse to give a meaningful description of what you did in Mirage Road 1 besides a couple of springs you jumped over. In asking what an Action Replay is, "is it an R4 with cheats", you pretty much say that you have an R4, which can be google'd very easily to find that it has Action Replay functionality inside of it.

I was about to point out R4 has built in cheats, I dont know exactly -what- cheats it has built in for Rush, though.

Well, AR has 2 moonjump cheats (one for each jump button) and an infinite boost energy cheat, so R4 probably has those as well.
