follow fast video but have no error!

scrabbrain1 also is easy, ask of xebra! but i did and can say his idea

must run fast and jump and jump and fall in hole for #2 spiky ball of the end, and fly of the hole! if this you can do then you can have no need of the spring for finding the high ground with two crabs. also can jump of the last spring but _ says he can run too. maybe i am faster?

ybbun has an other problem of an other part? you can ask and i can say the idea i know

Post by: Cybrax on May 19, 2004, 05:53:04 pm: Scrap brain 3 is very easy to get 21, near the end there is ledges you have to go up with the spike balls to get to the springs, instead of hittin the ground do a flying bounce thing from the enimy down below to land high up on the thing...

see, this is why i avoid trying to explain stuff.

Post by: yoshifan on May 19, 2004, 06:27:27 pm: So for Marble 3, at the part before the shortcut in the wall, you don't hit the 3 spikes (unlike in my 1:23 video)? I rarely jump over the spikes without touching them, so getting hit was part of my plan. I think I can see how you got 1:20.

you can play of many parts .1-.5s better
because of jumping high or touching thing or reverse slow
if you can make them all, then you can find 3s

this idea for scrapbrain3 i tried and cant do
now i know it is a true idea so i must again try

Marble 3 - I can't see the video, it has been removed. I think my record is 1.26, I don't know how to get 1.20.
Scrap brain 3 - I didn't actually know about Cybrax's method when I got my 0.21. I have been trying it because with it I think 0.20 is possible...
Star Light 3 - There is a part where you need to be lucky (as far as I know). After you do a few loops you come out and need to keep moving upwards, past the side of the wall on the left. Usually, you hit the edge and fall back. Every now and then, it can be made though. I still don't have the record for this level so there must be something else to do.
Sorry for the delay in responding. I have been busy. I have an M3 maths exam on monday (any brits will understand).

you can ask them to say if you cant understand what is good of jumping

I have also achieved 0.20 on Scrap Brain 3. It has been a long time since I have held a record outright... I will hold on to the secret for a few days, just to savour the moment.

The part with the 2 Crabs and a rock just there (you reach the bottom of that area around the 7 second mark, after jumping up a small half pipe), I cant seem to make it up onto the rock while the enemy is there, but if I destroy the enemy then backtrack to have a 'practise run' at it, I always make it up onto the rock...so, how do I counter this? I assume its the Crab Robot thats making me fall to fast...

I thought he did do that, because I just about followed Legogo's strat to the letter and that's what I did.

One thing I did change though: Instead of trying to pick up the first 10 ring box, jump so you will hit the bottom of it, and it will put you up onto the platform with the 10 ring box on it. Doing this means you also have a better chance of making the jump over the spring, as you don't land so close to the right edge of the platform.
