DarkSonic94 claims to have found a secret ring "in the pumpkin mountain," as described by his comment (http://www.soniccenter.org/rankings/sonic_adventure_2_b/rings/pumpkin_hill/mission_1). I'd like to know where this ring is. I'd discuss in the chat, but you know the deal...

Note that the ring inside a big pumpkin in Pumpkin Field at the top is known, and incorporated in 152.

209 turned out to be a typo for 109. This is 153 and mentions a "secret ring" where the existing record is 152, and the out-of total is 154 leaving 2 rings that no one else has found yet. There's going to be an explanation waiting to be given, or else...we haven't decided what else, but suffice it to say it's not going to be a free trip to Disney World.

Ah, that explains it (the Mission Street thing). We will get the explanation if the guy ever decides to post and if not, what SM said will be in effect.

Since when are you in the position to be making these decisions? Any such decision should be left to those at the top.

Wasn't there one ring that was inside the "updraft" portion of the area that required a dive in order to reach? I know one stage had it, but I forgot which.

Mad Space has a ring below the start, which you have to die in order to reach. Security Hall has Big the Cat grabbing the wall next to the C block fans below ground level (normal mode) or grabbing onto the fan itself (hard mode), and in some levels Big is replaced by a ring for GameCube players, but I don't think that's one of them. Were you thinking of either of those?

I doubt his secret ring that he found applies to just ph1, not ph5. I don't know if he's bsing or what.. or if he's just making tons of mistakes. But doing stats from memory like he does some of his times really isn't the tsc way IMO.

My personal guess is 4: He found a ring he thought ws secret and figured he'd add the ring to the perfect total.

I think he would have to have missed 4 or 9 or 19 for dug-up ring to make it one ring off. Which is not likely. Though I don't compete in SA2, I play it, and I'm pretty sure there are no groups of rings he could've missed that would cause a total like that.

i didnt dig up...only i achieved 153 rings...( sorry for my little english....my country is Argentina )

Is it possible for you to take a picture of where every stand-alone ring is located? Stand-alone being ones that aren't in any set group (like the one in the pumpkin on Pumpkin Mountain).

Silver: There are tons of 4 ring groups in Pumpkin Hill. It is very likely.

please guys...i know a friend do 153 rings...i dont know where is the ring he found...but please...if you want..people...i post 152...i really do 152...im secure...but please say rolken dont ban me of submissions....and i cant respond sometimes because i have a little english..please..people.....i have to much records to post....i want to post sonic adventure 1 records and i cant...please.....sorry for this...i post 152...and i search more rings in pumpkin hill...

The thying is, you can't just post your friend's record as your own, you can't post a record that's not real, and you most certainly can't break a rule, say you're sorry once confronted about breaking a rule, and expect to be let off. Did you actually think TSC was a sie for submitting someone else's records? I'd have the top record in every game if that were the case.

But i think i do that record but if he dont ban me...i post 152 rings...i say. Look...i have a world record time...i beat my world record ( Sonic Adventure - Casinopolis - Sonic - 0:10:66 )... and now is 0:10:36 and i want to post...please rolken i dont want to be banned =(

Where are you getting the belief of 153 rings by whomever else you speak of?

but i havent a camera to do videos...my friend have 153 rings...at the end his rings is 152...but he search in the big pumpkin ( he dont know the ring in the pumpkin )...and obtained 153...i dont know why...but i think i do 153...i think..but i want to post now 152...because im not secure...

Your friend probably dug rings up.
You shouldn't be submitting stats that you think you got. If you don't have certainty that you got a certain stat, why are you submitting it? This goes for some of your tiems as well. You need to be positive about what stat you achieve.
